Case study
Elite Domo
A bilingual private service recruitment platform, wired to the CRM
Elite Domo has been placing private service professionals in large residences since 2006: butlers, private chefs, housekeepers, chauffeurs. Three offices, Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver, and a clientele that expects discretion. I knew its website well: I had built it myself, back in 2018.

The site in place was my own earlier work: a WordPress brochure site delivered in 2018, which Elite Domo later coupled to its external recruitment system. It did its job for eight years. But the market had moved: English first in a Quebec market, job offers hosted off site with no visual link to the brand, no candidate area, no application tracking. By 2026 it no longer reflected the house, nor what I can build today.
The brief
The founder wanted a complete platform, worthy of the house's positioning: two native languages, filterable job listings fed live by his Zoho Recruit CRM, a real candidate portal with account, resume and application tracking, and a design fit for the residences where his placements work. The launch date was non negotiable.
Before, after
The two versions, side by side.

What was delivered
A bespoke editorial design
A complete visual language built for the brand: Cormorant Garamond, gold rules, hairlines, light and dark modes. No purchased template.
Live CRM job listings
Positions published in Zoho Recruit appear on the site without any manual step, filterable by occupation, location, status and employment type, in both languages.
Candidate portal
Secure account, resume on file, tracked applications, saved positions. The profile syncs with the CRM record in both directions.
Native bilingualism
French and English treated as equals: clean URLs, hreflang, dynamic sitemap, structured data for every occupation.
Serious security
CSP with nonces, database level access rules, rate limiting, server side file validation, passwords checked against known breaches.
Verified accessibility
WCAG AA contrast checked in both modes on every component, keyboard navigation, 96 measured by Lighthouse.
The method
The final sprint lasted one week, on a short loop: the client sent feedback as videos, every point was fixed and redeployed to staging the same day. The site went live on the promised date, with the scores below measured that very day.
The numbers
PageSpeed Insights scores measured on elitedomo.com in production, on mobile.
